Covering 70% of our world, water also constitutes an important part of our body. However, approximately 0.3% of the water resources on earth are usable and portable.

The volume of available water in the world is 141 billion m3. This amount is 3 km from the earth’s surface. it is large enough to wrap it in a thick layer.

Per capita, water use is directly proportional to the development level of the society. Although this rate is quite high in developed countries, it is low in developing countries. (It is 1692 m3 in the USA, 726 m3 in Europe, 244 m3 in Africa.)

For the water to be easily drunk, the water must contain a certain amount of dissolved gas and minerals. The existence of life on earth depends on water.

It is not possible for a life without water to exist. Water is a substance created for life, with all its physical and chemical properties, specially designed to be the basis of life. Thanks to millions of living water on earth, they survive.

Everyone needs to drink 8 glasses of water a day. Under normal conditions, we spend 2000 calories a day. For every 15 calories we burn, we lose a tablespoon of water through digestion and metabolism. This replaces 8 glasses of water per day on average. Thus, we can get back the water we lose due to our normal daily activities.

If you do body workouts or participate in any sport, you should drink more water every day. Other drinks do not replace water. Do not think that you are satisfying your water needs with tea and caffeinated beverages. These drinks are diuretics and cause dehydration in the body. When a healthy body needs excessive water and this situation is not resolved, some hormones act and transmit the situation to the brain due to the decrease in the amount of fluid in the blood. When we do not quench our thirst, our tongue and throat dry up and our tonsils swell slightly. The salt ratio in our body increases and the antidiuretic hormone is secreted. Controlled by the kidneys, this hormone tries to keep water in the body.

Start your day with 1 glass of water every day. Putting a jug of water where you can see it reminds you to consume water during the day. Make sure you have bottled water with you in your car. Water consumption is very low, especially in winter. To increase the antioxidant content of the water, you can make it particularly protective against flu. For this, you can add lemon, ginger, and fresh mint. Thus, those who do not like the taste of water can also facilitate consumption.

Do not wait for thirst to drink water. 3.7 lt for men and 2.7 lt for women is required. The water that took 30 or 15 minutes before meals has unmistakable benefits in accelerating metabolism and preventing excessive food intake by creating volume in the stomach.
