This plaque, which is used by the person who is whitening at home, provides the application of the whitening agent to the teeth of the patient and the protection of the gums.
How is office bleaching done?
The whitening process is done in one session, but the session can be repeated if necessary. For this purpose, the gums are isolated and a gel with whitening property is applied to the teeth. Special light sources such as laser or halogen, LED can be applied to activate the gel. Diode laser devices that activate the gel with the heat they give in whitening can be used. Even more reliably, since it provides superficial absorption, Sertdoku laser devices also provide safe bleaching in a very short time without giving any heat to the teeth.
It is possible to do the whitening process performed in the office faster without damaging the teeth. With laser devices, whitening can be achieved in about 30 minutes without creating sensitivity. This laser wavelength provides absorption of only 100 micrometers in the tissues being studied and is absorbed in water. For this reason, it is absorbed in the top layer of the whitening gel and ensures that the gel is immediately active without going into the deep layer. This ensures that the process is accelerated and at the same time, there is no heat in the tooth. Thus, post-processing sensitivity is also minimized compared to alternative methods.
The bleaching process performed in the office takes between 30 minutes and 1 hour on average. A few days after bleaching, the color of the teeth takes its final shape.
